Tonawanda News — The Tonawanda pavilion was not funded by taxpayers. The pavilion cost $1.25 million to build, and $867,000 of that came from the NY Power Authority. The rest was paid for with bonds. People rent it out at $250 a pop for private parties. The restrooms inside are for the use of the patrons at the party and there are public restrooms a stones throw away from the pavilion.

To the person that wrote in about blockhead: What are you on drugs? Do you really think that Obama is doing a good job? Have you forgot or just don’t care about him breaking the law? Sending out the IRS dogs because of his political motives, or breaking into the press computers, and what about him listening in on the American people. How about the change that he promised and you and so many liberals brought into? Where are the jobs? What happened to all those promises? That hopey changey think is doing great huh.

Residents of Town of Wheatfield listen up: Just released only one school in Niagara Country of 15 as Business First. No not Niagara Wheatfield ... it was Lewiston Porter so Lewiston Porter residents you can pass your budget on Tuesday. Niagara Wheatfield board and teachers guess again its a no.

Well I took a ride down by our downtown after the Primus concert and it was DEAD! Virtually NO ONE went from the concert to spend money at our venues downtown. There goes your so-called economic spur to our businesses. Moving the concerts to Gratwick Park and away from the hub of our city was stupid.

So which Patriot Act did the National Security Agency use to disrupt the planned attacks as they claim, the original one tracking phone calls to hot bed countries, or the latest one with Americans calling their granny or congressman? I’m guessing its the latter since they’re building the $2 billion Utah computer center, what, over a million square feet.
