Tonawanda News — I was readying today’s paper about Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver along with Lopez and Cuomo. Sounds like the same old thing — you have to be a member of the good old boys club and then take advantage of the taxpayers and waste our money on just the old stuff that they pull, sexual harassment and all the rest. It’s just not right, and Cuomo doesn’t want to look into it. There’s something wrong there. Good old boys club all the way, I guess.

I’m calling about the article in the paper about the doctor. It was an accident, he was wrong and so was the girl. He served his time and he should have his license back. I don’t know what the problem is or why people don’t think he should. He did wrong, and he’ll have to live with it for the rest of his life.

I see on the news today they’re talking about how Syria wants weapons, but they don’t want small weapons they want armed vehicles and planes. Well my question is for Mr. Obama: Ask Syria, how much money do they got? Why do we have to give to them? Sell it, just like the rest of them do, they sell it. Why should the taxpayers of the United States pay for Syria’s arms?

As a concerned citizen of North Tonawanda, I think it would be very nice if our city fathers would post some signs along Sweeney Street to save some lives of the geese. If they can do it for the deer, why not regard other creatures like the geese? People don’t even look, they deliberately try to hit them and I think that’s wrong. Let’s give it a try and put some signs up there.
