Tonawanda News — I see Barbara Tucker let everybody know about the 100-foot rule about politicians. She should put more useful things in her column instead of things people already know.

I’m so tired of reading about how Mitt Romney this and that. It’s people like Mitt Romney and his father, the Rockefellers, Carnegie, Vanderbilt. These are the people who built this country. People like them founded the country, the country of the United States of America. The rest of us realized the American Dream because we worked. We didn’t do it on hand-outs. We didn’t do it on getting free things from the government. We did it by working — out fathers, our mothers, our sons and our daughters.

No one understands this country like the people who were born and bred in this country. Not the people who come here — people who come as immigrants and work from the bootstraps up, yes they have an understanding — but a lot of people who come here from India and all these other countries, they can never understand how this country works.

All this big talk with the Buffalo Bills with Mario this and Mario that, I haven’t seen him do anything in any of the games that the Bills have played. What’s the deal with that?

I’m reading a lot of articles about Hillary Clinton and Obama and our Second Amendment. Now they’re talking about controlling guns. Do they think we’re really stupid? Well you don’t need a gun to kill somebody or harm somebody, so what’s the big deal about taking away guns? They should make it so everybody could carry guns so that you’d have a second thought about trying to harm somebody or rob somebody. It would be a lot safer.
