Tonawanda News — I just want to address the issue that’s happening at the VA with the accidents happening with the pens for diabetics for their insulin. Possibly we should look at other things. Teachers are told to pass students when they have failed. The government is telling all businesses to hire people even though they don’t have bonafide qualifications. $200,000 was given to a person too open a restaurant because he was the mayor’s friend, there was a woman in education who passed bad checks, and the woman in the tax office who kept checks in shoe boxes and drawers because she didn’t have the sense to deposit them in a bank. Where are the bonafide qualifications here? The law is not meant to hire people who don’t have bonafide qualifications. When is this going to stop? It’s not right, it’s wrong.
New York state has now made every gun owner in the state an outlaw, a criminal by the passage of a new law that limits the magazines on guns to seven rounds of ammunition. Ninety-five percent of the guns manufactured carry at least nine to 10 rounds of ammunition per clip. You have made criminals of all of us. Thank you to our voters and assemblyman and senators. I will remember this when they come up for re-election. Vote these people out of office, they have lost touch with everytbhing that’s going on with the average person.
The VA didn’t seem to be concerned about those diabetic shots. But when I was in the service we got shot with an air gun in our arm, and they said it was three or four kinds of medicine. And the air gun would inject medicine into our arm and they told us not to move, because the air gun would slice our arm, but they used the same air gun, one person after the other. So maybe it doesn’t cross their minds that these pens would cause trouble.
