Tonawanda News — What is the deal with the intersection at Young and Delaware in the city of Tonawanda? Some little barbecue restaurant that no one’s heard of wants more parking and the city approved this? It used to take me 9 minutes to get home from work. (I used to turn right at the arrow). Now it’s blocked off and the traffic turning right (if you’re driving down Young Street past Consumers and Swiston’s) is backed up, sometimes past Swiston’s. The other night I had to wait through three traffic light changes just to turn right over the bridge. It took me 20 minutes to get home from work the other night, usually takes 9 minutes! Who approved this?

If we procede to bomb Syria this will be the start to a long, drawn-out World War III.

I would like for the persistent Sound Off caller who despises Republicans and defends Obamacare to read the article Sept. 6 about the costs to real life consumers and then try and defend yourself. Let’s use facts. They’re in there, in a well-written article. Thanks, Tonawanda News. Now try to defend it.

I’d like to see a little more coverage of the Tonawanda football team. All I ever see is NT, NT, NT. Especially with our new football stadium. Don’t you ever come over here? This is called the Tonawanda News, isn’t it? Let’s get a little coverage over here. Thank you.

This is for Mr. Obama and Congress. I’ve got some white out and an eraser. It can get rid of your red line real easy. Think about it, before you go wasting time and money.
