I’m calling about Mayor Pilozzi wanting to privatize the garbage. I don’t think it would be a good idea. I think he must have friends at the other place and wants to give them a lucrative contract. The only way you save money is to lay off people. He’s going to be paying the city workers who picked up the garbage and the outside company. That’s double the cost of what we’re paying right now. I don’t understand the mayor’s reasoning for this.

First homicide in 10 years. That’s amazing. I’ve seen in the paper several times people say we don’t need two police forces on either side of the canal and we should merge. Apparently the only reason we’ve got all these cops is giving tickets out and harassing kids. I still do not think we need two police forces in the Twin Cities and it would be nice if the politicians made life a little bit better for people who live here rather than raise taxes to pay all these people we don’t need.

Everyone should pay taxes, but why should the rich people pay less than the poor people?
