Tonawanda News — Let me get this straight. Obama and Brennan, who he wants to become head of the CIA, thought that water boarding proven terrorists against the U.S. under Bush was inhumane but both approve of the use of drones which kill. Let’s see, water boarding or death. It is unbelievable what this administration is doing. Memo was leaked that they can use a drone attack against a U.S. citizen abroad if they believe they are involved in terrorism. No trial or real proof, just their belief. I am pretty sure that Mr. DuVall will be writing an article about this. Sure.

Somebody from North Tonwanda was driving around making judgment about big people. Well, some people like to be big. It’s amazing just wondering what their diets were and assuming perhaps they eat candy and drink soda. Not all do. Some drink good drinks like fruit juices and stay away from candy most of the time. Maybe their thyroid isn’t very good. That’s why some big people are big.

Reading the sports section and the article about the NFL coaches and who was hired and one is complaining about who was hired and not hired. We’re all human beings. Why is it always ends up they use the race card trying to say it was black and white. What about the other immigrants in this country? Why is it always black and white?

I’d like to thank the town of Amherst for that wonderful Pizza Fest they had on Niagara Falls Boulevard. I’ll be looking forward to going next year. Way to go town of Amherst for hosting such a wonderful event. I’ll be going next year.

When you’re 18 you’re allowed to vote, fight for your country. You should be allowed to drink. I think the alcohol law of 21 is completely wrong. It’s why we have such a drug problem. They’re not partying with their families. They disappear and drink for three years. It’s really screwing up families and our children. They’re all becoming drug addicts because they live in a different world for three years.

I’m calling about the guy who’s opposed to raising the minimum wage because a cup of coffee is going to go from 79 cents to 93 cents. I’ll tell you, I’d be happy to pay 93 cents for that cup of coffee if I know the increase is going to paying the workers more money. I think people deserve their raise. Also, he says 20 percent of workers are college and high school kids. That’s baloney. A lot of these factories, they start at minimum wage.

For days Gov. Cuomo has been on all our local TV channels advertising for his budget. Do the taxpayers pay for all this television time? It must cost a fortune.

Does anyone know how many pistol permits are in New York state? If each one holding a permit and their family voted against Gov. Cuomo in the next election, it would show how we feel about his new gun law.
