Our gross domestic product is all the goods and services generated by Americans, minus the goods and services from foreign countries sold in America. Wealth doesn’t just disappear, it changes hands. Well now that we have that wonderful playhouse down by the river, that the mayor built with money that we have to pay back, maybe we can have that Pizza Fest in the City of Tonawanda. Oh wait a minute, it can only hold 125 people! I guess you can’t do that. I guess only the city workers can go to that. Maybe they can’t even all be there at the same time. Oh, how sad.
