Tonawanda News — The police should be drug tested and so should the fire company. They drive these fire trucks around. Why aren’t they tested?

What do you mean there ought to be a law in the City of Tonawanda about the size of the speakers at concerts? The City of Tonawanda doesn’t have any concerts.

Today is July 31. I checked and called the NT police department. Their phone still doesn’t work. Am I crazy for calling every day or is this a serious problem?

I have never been a big supporter of the North Tonawanda police department but I’d like to give a thanks to the police officer who found my bicycle and got it returned to me. The officer was very kind. I don’t know his name but I would like to thank him.

I have something to say about that bad storm a couple weeks ago. I think the fire department and police department was real busy. But it seems as if one of the fire departments could come to the Tonawanda Towers, knock on every door and see how people were. People were concerned about insulin in refrigerators. Our power went out at 12:30 and never came back on until 10:45 a.m. and nobody came to check on us. We could have all been dead. At least a cop could have come in and knocked on the doors to see if everybody is all right. We should have a generator so one of the elevators works so people can get downstairs when we live on the 11th floor.
