Tonawanda News — I’m not a writer and don’t know how to properly write a letter. I apologize in advance for my bad grammar. I want to say how disgusted I am with ... little league football. It should be about promoting a fun and learning atmosphere and it 100 percent is not. The only thing they promote there is winning and doing it at all costs. They play their “a” teams the entire games. Their “b” teams are lucky to get 3 plays a game. It disgusts me to watch my son cry after a game ‘cause he didn’t get to play. No 8-year-old kid should feel that way. I am a sergeant in the Army with 40 soldiers under my command — my “good” or “experienced” soldiers” I don’t need to train. My less effective soldiers I give more attention because they need the extra training. Little league football should be the same concept. All kids should get equal playing time if not at least 1 quarter of play for these kids. When did it become acceptable to teach kids winning is everything and if your not the best no one will give you a shot to get better. I think it’s time to change the good ol’ boy guard starting with any coach who doesn’t have a “kids are here to learn and have fun mentality.” I don’t know what to do so I’m writing because I can’t make these officials do push ups. Otherwise they would be eating mud.

So Barack the candy man is coming to town to hand out candy and goodies to all you people on welfare. And lets throw in a million illegal aliens while he’s here.

I just saw on the news that they wanted to ship some of those kids from Buffalo to suburban schools. I don’t think so. We have enough of our own problems. We don’t need Buffalo’s problems. It’s their fault they waited so long to decide that they have troubled schools, not ours. And we just don’t have room in the classrooms as it is. I think it’s ridiculous that they would even ask us.
