Tonawanda News — How refreshing to read the NT Democrats’ ideas. It sounds like they have really been listening to the residents, not like the bunch in office now who only respond to special interests. Give us back a voice in city government that we haven’t had for the last four years!

Both Jackie Smilinich and Rick Davis have the best interests of the City of Tonawanda because they are teh two best car salesmen running for office Voting for them is like buying a lemon. I would think twice on Election Day.

I would like to know why some of the people on Roncroff Drive cannot use their own driveways instead of the street as their personal parking lot.

I’ve heard an awful lot of talk about food stamp benefits going down and people are going to starve and taking away all this money. I get food stamps an my benefits just went up $10 a month. No difference in my income. Five out of the six people I know in Erie and Niagara counties are all cheating to get their food stamps, so enough with the scare tactics.

I don’t care if the firemen smoke cigarettes, cigars or drink beer. The word that’s important is volunteer. They spend their free time entertaining your bratty spoiled little kids at the Gilmore school. It’s their time to take your kids up in a bucket, show them how the Jaws of Life work to show them how fire extinguishers work. They don’t have to do this and you have the audacity to complain about someone smoking a cigarette? Good grief.
