Tonawanda News — Garbage totes should be like mailboxes-private. People don’t like getting spilled milk and sodas dumped into their totes. It’s summer time and totes smell. So please hands out of totes. Thank you.

I read today’s article about Natale. I lived in the city all my life. I don’t think the city and school district ever had a working relationship. It’s about time they worked together. I am not surprised to see the school board president doesn’t want to work together though. She has never wanted to work with the city. She will try to work against the city for her own benefit. Stop wasting my tax dollars Sharon Stuart.

These young kids that have put motors on bicycles so they don’t have to pedal and these carts that go up the middle of the road that all seniors use, I think they should be licensed, they should have a light on the back so you can see them at night, and they should have something going on in the daytime. It’s a motorized vehicle and it says in the laws that any motorized vehicle is supposed to have a license and lights.

I am glad they voted down the parking on the street overnight too. The street is plowed better in the winter and the street cleaner can do a better job with the cars off the street. I grew up in Buffalo and we had alternating parking and it was more of a mess when the plow or street cleaner could only do one side at a time.

I received my Connect newsletter from the desk of Councilmember Koch. I am disabled and unable to make the meetings. I feel in touch with what is going on in the city. Thank you Ms. Koch for going above and beyond. Between your informal meetings and your newsletter you really exceeded my expectations. Keep up the hard work. It is appreciated.
