Tonawanda News — I wonder when Crazy Jake’s is going to realize that the tribute bands they are having on the weekends, the fan base for these is approaching 60 years old. We can’t stand for a couple of hours. At some point you’re gonna have to allow umbrella chairs in. That’s the reason we don’t go.

I love the question about slowing down the people on Niagara Street and slowing down the bicyclists on the path, but I have a question for the City of Tonawanda. If a bicyclist hits a walker on the bike path, who is at fault? The walker has got to learn which part of the path they belong on.

This is for the City of Tonawanda council members. Now I remember that it was said the council should work together. Which is ok, but how come the guys always vote no when the girls vote yes. I mean just because the women have some brighter ideas than the guys, you guys have to have their way all the time. Do you have your way all the time at home?

Six or eight weeks ago, Grove Street in North Tonawanda was in the process of being repaved. Then they stopped. Grove Street is now an obstacle course because of all of the standing signs warning of raised manhole covers, etc. There will be an accident eventually because of the way people swerve to avoid these obstacles. What is the problem here? Do we need to wait until someone gets hurt and then sues the city to get it fixed?

What’s the world coming to when people aren’t neighborly enough to allow their neighbors to put their overflow of garbage into their garbage totes which are only half full anyways. What do they care?
