Tonawanda News — It is okay to snitch if you see something that is wrong.

To the person who took the table and two Derby helmets from our garage sale pile on Saturday on Christiana Street: These items were not in the garbage, and I would really appreciate it if you would give them back.

Yes, I agree with the article that Larry Soos wrote about the concerts. That promoter is one slick individual.

To the person who objected to killing deer with babies inside them and asked if other methods could be used: I think I can understand your emotional objection. Yes, perhaps if the persons carrying out this lawfully approved action could identify any pregnant deer before shooting them, they could turn them over to you and you could help the deer give birth. Then, in accordance with the law, you would then shoot all of them. Would that make you feel better?

The thing that really irritates me about our council president is his attitude. “I guess my problem is that somehow, we survived these past 60 years like this.” While this is true, what are we still using that we’ve had for the past 60 years? Is he driving the same car? Is he wearing the same pair of underpants? Does he still watch television on the same set he has had since 1954? I can probably answer that for everyone.
