Tonawanda News — Can anything be done about the house on the corner of Wurlitzer Drive and Doebler Street? The garbage is now starting on the front porch along with the driveway and yard. Cars and trucks with plates, etc. Where is North Tonawanda’s code inspector?

Why are they building a pavilion on the grounds of Spruce School? Is this being paid for by our school taxes? Is this luxury necessary for the education of the children?

For the writer that said there is no parking for graduation at the high school. What do they do when they play the TNT game? Does the space craft bring in the people? Taxpayers watch as your tax dollars goes up in smoke.

Happy to see Sharon Stuart is not board president. She raised taxes and did nothing to help this city. Maybe the president now will put the taxpayers first.

To the elderly man who carries his recycle bin with three or four cans and will boycott the new recycle bins in Tonawanda, if you carry three or four cans in your recycle bin to the curb why not put them in your new bin on wheels so you don’t have to carry the old bin? Duh!

Great news about overnight parking in the City of Tonawanda. Looks like the women made something happen in the city. I’m sure some had to swallow their pride to support it. But these women weren’t letting go of the gas. I am very pleased with both Koch and Smilinich. Keep up the good work, ladies. Thank you for fighting for us.
