Tonawanda News — It is unfortunate the Tonawanda City Council has again kicked the can down the road for a few ignorant people who don’t understand how the state condo status works. Natale is an excellent developer wanting to foot the development completely. If those who are ignorant of the issues and want another developer it will mean the city will foot the bill for the infrastructure. Also, the school board doesn’t need any more of this property to go off the tax rolls.

I would like to say amen to the article about Mayor Ortt’s practice of giving retirement incentive bonuses to people who are retiring. It’s about time people realize Mayor Ortt should be taken off his throne.

Thank goodness for the Tonawanda News and the sports section. You’re praising local people who are doing a good job. It gets us off the red line in the sand in Iran. Keep up the good work. The red line in the sand in Iran might be a thing of the past eventually.

I’m curious as to why the sewer receivers on Nash Road are always so low. They’re six inches lower as you’re driving your car. If you’re driving by the curb it’s terrible. Every time you drive over one it’s bang, bang, bang, bang. I’m just curious why the city doesn’t do something about that.

My youth group at church would like to know if it’s possible to have a Christian band play a concert in the summer either at the river or at the canal site. I think it would be great. God bless.
