Tonawanda News — To the person who is criticizing the work of the plow drivers in NT and the unfortunate lawn damage done. I would take the lawn damage over not getting the street plowed. I would like to see that person do their job, snow removal is a difficult task. Plus, the people that do not have curbs put encumbrances on their property to prevent people from parking in front of their house, which causes damage to the plows when they hit snow-covered boulders. It’s time the city take action against these people causing this kind of damage. Next time you criticize a worker, try walking in their shoes.

I just heard on the news that the governor says there’s going to be $23 million earmarked for Western New York for the school budgets. What’s North Tonawanda doing raising our budget? Who’s in charge of the school over there? Let’s vote this down people.

You people talk about taxes and school taxes and how bad they are. Let me get you real clear on one thing, so it doesn’t fog up your mind next year. Coming around you’re going to see taxes like you haven’t seen before, thanks to the president that you people put in office. You’re going to see people in postal and teacher jobs losing their jobs. City workers are going to be losing their jobs. Eventually, within a year, we’re going to be lucky if we can fix potholes in our streets, let alone fix our mayor.

Obama claims that millions of people are being disenfranchised because they don’t drive and don’t have government issued voter ID to enter the polls. Excuse me, you don’t have to be a driver to have a government issued photo ID, which Obama must surely know. For example the State of New York issues photo IDs to millions of people who do not drive.
