Tonawanda News — It says as many of a 100,000 active duty national guard reserve soliders could lose their jobs if congress allows billions of dollars in automatic budget cuts to continue next year. Well why don’t they take those people and put them on a rotating shift protecting our Mexican border, instead of 20,000 to 40,000 people to patrol it? Why don’t they issue it to the military and save billions in taxpayers money?

It seems like every time I turn the television on there is another new program for medicaid recipients. Everything is free when your on welfare. My husband and I both work two jobs so we can support our family and pay for medical insurance. There really should be more help provided for honest hard working people, than those on welfare.

Im calling about the long list of road repairs in the paper a few days ago. It’s nice to see the road repairs are getting made and just in time for election year too. If the cities business only gets done when the mayor, the council and the city attorney are up for reelection, then lets make election every year.
