Tonawanda News — I’m calling about Mayor Bloomberg. He should look at the beer bellies coming out of bars instead of banning pop. Let’s get real.

•••

I would like to know why the government is telling us how much to eat and what to drink. This was supposed to be a free country. If you want to drink a pop, eat a hamburger, be fat, go ahead. If you want to be skinny, go ahead. Why don’t we tell the lawmakers what to eat and drink and cut down on their spending so we don’t have so much taxes to pay.

•••

I seen something real wonderful today. The NT public works workers are lazy. They couldn’t even use a tree branch to put it in the back of a truck. They used a bulldozer to pick it up. I could have gone out there and put it in the back of the truck. I’m tired of this. They get paid this money and they can’t do a think. They can’t pick up a tree limb?

•••

Hillary, if I’m reading you right, you’re saying “I’m sorry.” Really? You better pick your words different.

•••

Why can’t the City of Tonawanda apply for some of those grants other communities are applying for, instead of taxing us for the sidewalks? All these grants are out there. Other cities get them. Lay off 50 percent of those guys that don’t work.

•••

According to the guy who says he can’t be 55 and be a Vietnam vet. The war ended in 1975 and if you were 18 when you went in, that would make you 55 years old. So obviously you don’t know how to do the math.

Every day between 2 and 4 p.m. I can stand at the end of Raymond Street by the woods there and count at least 50 cars that do not stop for that stop sign and roll right through it. It’s too bad we can’t get the police in there. That would really crack down. I learned to stop because I got tagged. Maybe if they get tagged they’ll learn.
