Tonawanda News — So now they have played their hand. This worthless Congress has displayed their hatred and bigotry in pursuit of their ultimate goal of defeating President Obama. They have spent the past 2 years obstructing just so they could blame him for their own failure. They have done everything possible to sabotage this country showing absolutely no regard for the Americans they have been elected to serve.

I pray to my higher power which I choose to call God that the the public works department learns to plow both sides of the road, not just the middle so they can sit at the coffee shop all day. The public deserves better.

Remember when they said a couple of weeks ago that the price of gas will come down. Has anybody seen the price of gas come down?

After watching the vice presidential debate, it scares me to think that a trained donkey might be just one heartbeat away from the presidency for another four years.

When Pilozzi presents his city budget I hope it contains all the layoffs for the city workers, they’re the laziest bunch of people I ever saw. Every single thing they do, to move a piece of wood or something, they need six, eight people with them.

I recall a few years back there was a column written by a gentleman named Kevin O’Connor or something like that. I think it would be a good idea to bring him back.

I’ve noticed the traffic light at Main and Fletcher stays on for a long time. I think it might be set wrong.

I hope they give Melissa Holmes the “Daybreak” job on Channel 2 when Jodi Johnston leaves. Melissa is beautiful and my favorite woman reporter. I’m surprised Channel 4 let her go.

Tops is having this big sale starting today. I can see the points for the gas, but the other things? People don’t want free things. Lower your prices, have better customer service and you’ll get more customers. Walmart, Wegmans, Budweys, they don’t have gimmicks like this. Tops should realize this is what people want. Lower your prices and get rid of the gimmicks.

Mr. Pilozzi and the council are really screwing up for taxpayers. I hear the land at Little League Drive is worth $500,000 and he wants to practically give it away. Just like the gazebo, it went over budget. Just let the taxpayers pay for it.
