Tonawanda News — Al Gore doesn’t make the laws in this country.

I have to make a comment about the person who made an issue of American-made products. I just recently had to buy a stove and refrigerator. My vintage 1950s Westinghouse electric stove finally died, and I went out looking for appliances, and couldn’t find anything American made. There was something made in Korea. The best I could do was buy a Westinghouse that was put together in the United States but all the parts were made in China. So finding American-made products is not as easy as (people) think.

This is for all you Republican politicians out there: Just because you have such fantastic health care for when you retire and you can afford health care with all the money you make off of taxpayer dollars, and your big pay — over pay — you can afford it but you want to knock down Medicare and Medicaid and every other thing that we do need.

I see there’s far too many people killing each other in the streets of Buffalo, and the suburbs. I say the smartest thing to do is, as soon as somebody shoots somebody, execute them the very next day.
