Tonawanda News — It’s Wednesday, Jan. 22. In the Tonawanda News, the bicyclist you had pictured was riding down the wrong side of the road, endangering my life as well as yours. I hope you get the message out, this is against the law.

The last few weeks in this cold is exactly when I give the mailman a $5 Tim Hortons gift card and tin of homemade cookies. It isn’t much but I can’t afford any more. It is something and to say thank-you, I appreciate you delivering my mail, even if it is -20 degrees windchill and that I would never want your job but I hope more people appreciate it.

Attention, City of Tonawanda mayor, common council and residents: Be aware of the red light traffic cameras. If we allow this into our city we’re inviting Big Brother. Don’t let this happen!

I’m a taxpayer of North Tonawanda and I’m totally disgusted with the politics. It’s 2014, a new year, and they’re doing what they always do, which is whatever they want while ignoring what we need. They’re all snakes. They do nothing but try to benefit themselves.

Yes, yes. Fire Hose Man is waiting for the weather to warm up before making the ice for the rink at Christiana Field. Just like last year. As Rodney Dangerfield once said when he asked if his father could take him skating, his father said, “wait until it gets warmer.”
