The Tonawanda News

Tonawanda News — The mayor of Tonawanda likes to spend millions of dollars building things that don’t help people. Why doesn’t he get down to Niawanda Park? The grass is disgusting. The picnic tables are so old and bad you don’t even want to sit on them. Why don’t you do something about that, that everyone can enjoy, not just the elite.

I was walking by a car, relatively warm, and a young lady was having a conversation on the phone. The window was down. Almost every other word out of her mouth was a swear word. Later that day, some teenagers were in the grocery store and every other word out of their mouth was what we used to call a swear word. Even on the radio stations I’ve heard some words lately, especially on talk radio. Thank god for the Tonawanda News, who doesn’t put in swear words. If you do you’ll just be falling to their level.

To the person in Thursday’s paper, I think your figures are a little bit off. We’d never heard of a trillion dollar deficit until Obama came into office.

I’m just really dismayed, as always, about the quality of reporting, especially in the sports section. The CBS news yesterday reported that the Niagara University is going to hire a new coach. You folks didn’t obviously read the ticker or anything to get anything in the paper as of this morning. I hope you continue your assault on not doing your jobs. Thank you so much, I’ve made my day. Hope I made yours.
