Tonawanda News — I saw the news that they want to bring a Trader Joe’s to Niagara Falls Boulevard. Are they nuts? It’s the worst street in Western New York. There isn’t enough parking over there as it is. I will not even go to Target there, I go to the one in Niagara Falls. Why can’t they pick another place where there’s not that much traffic, like Sheridan Drive? There are a lot of empty stores on Sheridan Drive. I think they’re totally nuts. I will never go there if they build that place.

Some people can’t see an inch past their nose and are so ignorant to the other ways of the world they spend time complaining about not taking Christmas lights down. Christian tradition says the 12 days of Christmas begins Christmas Eve and end Jan. 6. This is called the Epiphany. Most Christians observe this, a lot of them know about it and this is why Christmas decorations aren’t taken down the day after Christmas. Please spend time reading rather than complaining.

I’d like to comment on what happened in Webster, N.Y. This goes out to the liberal people who are against the death penalty. This creep killed his grandmother with a hammer and served 17 years. If he would have been given the death penalty two brave firemen would be alive today and two others would not have been wounded. This country cannot control the lawlessness. People commit murder, serve 15 years and they’re out doing it again. Let’s bring back the death penalty and control the lawlessness going on in this country.

Here’s a question for you: How come when police pull somebody over and they announce the license plate number over the radio, it’s usually just the standard three letters and four numbers. Hardly ever is it a vanity plate or a combination of letters and numbers. It means everybody with a vanity plate or some other special plate never violate any traffic laws? There’s something to look into.
