Tonawanda News — So I guess the new Clint Small track isn’t going to be open for public use after all. That’s just fantastic. We as taxpayers can’t even enjoy what we were forced to pay for. I don’t attend the football/soccer games, nor do I wish to pay for the facilities. And to add to all of this, I have to sleep with my windows shut because of the blaring rap music and play-by-play volume echoing through my neighborhood. I live two miles away so I can’t imagine how the residents closer to the stadium feel.

Mid City Plaza, from Dollar Tree to the M&T Bank, they need to have an unmarked police car here form 9 a.m. to noon, at least. You would get so many tickets. Nobody stops for these three stop signs. Somebody’s going to get hurt. We’re here in the morning to get the paper and they’re driving through it no matter what.

To the person writing in about Mr. Dubbs, I’d rather have someone new in there than somebody they’ve had lately. Apparently you haven’t lived in North Tonawanda long because nobody who runs a department knows what they’re doing. Really, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. It’s always going to be that in this good old boys town.

I’ve called Time Warner a couple times now. The people who lived here before me, they’re deceased. I still get the bill. Time Warner, they’re charging dead people.

Almost 5:50 p.m. and we’re just getting our mail on Niagara Street.

I’m just curious, does Mayor Ortt have somebody on his payroll follow him around and take pictures of him?

I was wondering why there’s been little or no comment on the new doctors in our hospitals. When you get sick or ill, your private physician who’s been treating you for years is not allowed to treat you. You’re then assigned a doctor you do not know whose treatment you have to accept. Your own doctor is not allowed to be involved in your treatment.
