When is somebody going to do something about the people who make these vicious video games and about the parents who stand in line to purchase them for their children? These games are put in the hands of children by these vicious people to make them rapist, assaulters, robbers, burglars and torturers of another human being.

I want to thank Obama for being the catalyst for joining the Republican party. I was raised in a highly involved, very blue collar, working class Democratic family I now realize it’s not your dad’s Democratic party anymore. Thanks, Obama. I’m now a Republican.

Jenna Koch, Third Ward candidate in the City of Tonawanda, is going to find out her knowledge of union negotiations, budgets and hiring won’t do her any good when she sits on the council because that won’t be her job.

Recently, Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz began a filibuster in an attempt to kill Obamacare. During this filibuster he decided to read Dr. Suess’ “Green Eggs and Ham.” This is our government in action. We need more one way signs on Morgan Street in the City of Tonawanda. There are so many cars going the wrong way between Bouck and Clinton and headed toward Seymour Street. I’m scared someone is going to get in a serious accident. Can someone look into getting more one way signs?

About the child who was killed last week, we were in McDonald’s in Tonawanda with an 2- and 3-year-old and the mom was so well attentive. The children were well behaved and you could tell the mother loved them. Now, when you go past a mother who’s caring for a child as well as she was, say a little prayer all children are being cared for like this. We will.
