Tonawanda News — About the boyfriend and girlfriend CVS hoax robbery. I hope the taxpayers of North Tonawanda, the courts, make them pay for all the time with the cops, the choppers that were involved. That should be a part of their punishment, to repay that to North Tonawanda.

Let’s get off the crybaby dirty politics line in the Second Ward. Flip-flopper Boyle lost. Move on.

I’d like to know the gentleman’s reasons for switching from the Democrats to the Republicans. Is it because Democrats won’t give up on Obamacare for 25 million members of the working poor? Is it because the Democrats let taxes increase on the rich over the Republicans’ objects? Is it because the Democrats won’t pass a bill for $32 billion in cuts for food stamps? Please, give me your reasons for being a Republican. I know increasing the deficit isn’t good but that’s because we have too many Benedict Arnolds who buy foreign goods.

The Fall Festival at Gilmore School turned out to be a great day but I found it terribly wrong that the firefighters representing a volunteer fire company sat there and smoke cigarette after cigarette. This was supposed to be a children and family fun day and it was really inappropriate, especially representing a fire department.

I agree with the many other people about the Smoke on the Water restaurant. I would like to know who knows the owners. Nobody else got parking when they owned that building. There’s been other restaurants there that closed because there’s no parking. The only thing they’ve made it is an inconvenience to get in the right hand lane and get into Gastown. I’m calling City Hall myself and I’ll change my vote if they don’t change this situation.
