Tonawanda News — Instead of the City of Tonawanda mayor building a gazebo, we have one and I’m down by the river every single day and never see anyone go near that gazebo. Why doesn’t he fix River Road, it’s atrocious.  It has been patched a few years ago and it made it worse than it was before. And why doesn’t he spend the taxpayers money on something that would make it better for them. We don’t need another gazebo. Take a ride down River Road, it’s totally disgusting. Why won’t he use our tax money on something like that?

That’s right NT Democratic candidates. Use all the money now in the fund balance. Then when we have an emergency, we’ll have to borrow, maybe from China since the federal government does. Then look at the fiscal mess we’re in there. Then we will not only be able to not lower taxes, but most likely have to raise them. No thanks!

Do you NT Democratic candidates even know what the infrastructure is? Sure, doesn’t sound like it or you’re blind. Look around and you’ll see it being tended to everywhere. Who let it fall apart in the first place, oh so many years ago? Was it Sam I am who ate green eggs and ham?

Thank you Tonawanda News for doing an in-depth story about the Mayor’s race in Tonawanda. I couldn’t help though to point out the contrast in pictures for the story. Mr. Davis is out knocking on doors and talking to the residents getting their opinions. Mr. Pilozzi is sitting behind his desk as usual, won’t put forth the effort to visit us taxpayers, and isn’t visible in the community. There couldn’t be any more of a contrast in this race.

So the paper on Friday, Oct. 25 said, all teacher evaluations should be made public. Hmm, the paper actually pulled the taxpayer card. We pay their salary. Next time you interact with the police, demand the personnel records and annual review by their sergeant. When he refuses, tell him that you pay his salary. See how that works out for you. And newspaper columnists, how do they rate as fact checkers, how have their records been, how accurate are they? I want to see some numbers. I pay their salary, I buy the paper.

What a blessing Prince George will be for the English people. Born on July 24, making him a Leo near the cusp of Cancer. He will have all the wonderful qualities of his grandmother, Diana, and Prime Minister Winston Churchill. He will be just and compassionate and a very, very fair-minded leader for England. Bravo!

Our Constitution guarantees privacy. Not only our own citizens but 35 foreign leaders including our friends have been spied on since 2006 by the United States government. Edward Snowden should be given a medal for making the American people aware of what is going on with the government. Whistle blowers should not be sent to prison.
