So, Republicans want to increase defense spending because they want people to fear us. We already have the best and strongest military in the world. The ironic thing about their so-called patriotism is how they treat our veterans and their families. There was a bill in the senate that would provide a cost of living increase to families of soldiers who died in service to our country. It is being blocked by Republicans! Yes, the republicans don’t feel it is important to give the families of our fallen soldiers an increase in their benefit. They made the ultimate sacrifice and because republicans block everything that the president wants to do, they put politics above our troops and their families. What a disgrace vote them all out.
