HS SOFTBALL: Tonawanda collared by Eden

Staff Reports

Lisa Crowe and Becca Sutton combined on a two-hitter as Eden shutout out the Tonawanda softball team by a 5-0 count at the Immaculata Tournament on Sunday.

Victoria Gilbert and Amanda Kwiatkowski had the only hits for Tonawanda (7-12) while Kelsey Schroeder only surrendered a single earned run and finished with eight strikeouts.

Again, the downfall for the Warriors was a slow start — Tonawanda gave up four runs in the second inning to fall behind early.
