Chris Woodard,North Tonawanda

Stats: 1,455 passing yards, 9 passing TDs, 875 rushing yards, 11 rushing TDs, 15 tackles, 1 interception, 39.56 punt average, 14/16 PATs.

Scoop: Woodard was named the A-North division’s Co-Offensive Player of the year. The junior led the Jacks to five straight wins to close out the season. The dual-threat QB figures to be one of top signal callers in Western New York in 2014. 

Tristan Boling, Tonawanda

Stats: 614 passing yards, 8 passing TDs, 570 rushing yards, 5 rushing TDs, 36 tackles, 1 interception.

Scoop: Class C first-team defensive selection. As the Warriors QB, Boling led Tonawanda to its first playoff berth in nine years this season. Boling made the transition from WR to QB this season and the junior will look for even better results in his final season.


Tim Barnard, Tonawanda

Stats: 913 rushing yards, 5 rushing TDs, 70 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD, 108 tackles, 2 interceptions.

Scoop: The senior was a first-team Class C defensive selection. Barnard scored the winning touchdown against Amherst in season finale on final play of overtime.

Nigel Davis, St. Joe’s

Stats: 1,108 rushing yards, 13 rushing TDs, 75 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD, 44 passing yards, 1 passing TD, 27 tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception.

Scoop: Davis was named a finalist for the Connolly Cup award. Coach Dennis Gilbert called the senior one of the most athletically gifted players he’s ever coached.


Jake Ferry, North Tonawanda

Stats: 789 receiving yards, 7 receiving TDs, 20 tackles, 1 interception.

Scoop: Selected to the Class A offensive first-team. Broke the school record for receiving yards in a season with 96 yards against Hamburg in season finale.

Terrell Ford, Kenmore West

Stats: 409 receiving yards, 3 receiving TDs, 157 rushing yards, 2 rushing TDs, 31.4 punt return yard average, 2 return TDs, 70 tackles, 5 interceptions.

Scoop: Class AA second-team selection. Ford is one of the most dynamic athletes in Western New York. His contributions in all three phases have earned him a spot in the U.S. Army All-American combine in January.
