Renaissance Club serves dinner
Spaghetti will be on the menu from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Renaissance Club, 252 Vandervoort St., North Tonawanda.
Ravioli, homemade soups and desserts can also be purchased for an additional charge. The club is open to the public.
First UM church hosts tray party
A theme tray party will take place Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 65 Main St., North Tonawanda.
Doors open at 2 p.m. and at 3:30 p.m., numbers will be called.
Admission is $5 for adults and includes 25 tickets, dessert, beverage and a thank you gift. Children age 10 and under are $3 and will receive 10 tickets, dessert, beverage and a thank you gift.
Christina DeMart or Debbie Rogers are chairwomen. All proceeds benefit the church’s spiritual development ministries and community outreach.
Post schedules spaghetti dinner
A spaghetti dinner will be hosted from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Sikora American Legion Post, 950 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda.
Tickets are $5 and include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread and butter and beverage. Homemade dessert is available for $1.

Senior Citizen prom hosted at high school
The annual Senior Citizen Prom, hosted by the Student Council of Tonawanda High School, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. May 9 in the gym at the high school on Hinds Street, City of Tonawanda.
Live music by Sugar & Jazz, food and a basket raffle and free couple photographs will be featured. The event is free with any money raised from the basket raffle going to cancer research.

Hoover students graduate from D.A.R.E.
Fifth-grade classes will graduate from the D.A.R.E. program at a ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the community room at Hoover Elementary School, 199 Thorncliff Road, Town of Tonawanda.

Deerhurst church plans benefit dinner
An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Deerhurst Presbyterian Church, Deerhurst and Colvin boulevards, Town of Tonawanda.
Tickets are $7, $3.50 for children ages 5 and under.
Proceeds benefit this year’s mission trip.
Insurance reduction course set at KMH
A state-certified six hour point and insurance reduction course will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, 2950 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore.
Each applicant will receive 10 percent off collision and liability auto insurance for three consecutive years. The course will also remove up to four points from a state driver’s license.
