Anerald Boat Club hosts chowder sale
A chowder sale will take place at 11:30 a.m. today at the Anerald Boat Club, 137 Young St., City of Tonawanda.
Chowder may be purchased by the quart or bowl. Advance orders are welcome.
NORTH TONAWANDA
Book discussion planned at library
Bring a brown bag lunch for a book and literature discussion at noon Tuesday for grades four to seven at the North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive.
“Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key” by Jack Gantos will be discussed. Copies are available at the library. Bring a floor pillow for the discussion. Dessert or snack will be provided. No registration necessary. For more details call 693-4132, ext.5.
Senior center plans spring dinner dance
A spring dinner dance will be hosted from 6 to 10 p.m. May 21 at the North Tonawanda Senior Citizen Center, 110 Goundry St.
Tickets are $13.
