NORTH TONAWANDA
Gamma Delta to present award
Members of Gamma Delta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International will present its “Good Apple” award at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the North Tonawanda Public Library.
Financial grants will be presented and a business meeting and installation of officers will follow.

Little People’s registration under way
Registration is under way for the summer session of the Little People’s program sponsored by the North Tonawanda Department of Youth, Recreation and Parks for children ages 4 to 6.
The program will begin July 2 with class held from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays at the Niagara Country Building, 500 Wheatfield St.
Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes consist of arts and crafts, storytelling, music and special events.
Registration forms are available at the recreation office, 500 Wheatfield St. There is a $20 program fee for residents, $25 for non-residents.

History museum topic of AARP event
Donna Neal will present a program on the future of the North Tonawanda History Museum at the 1:30 p.m. meeting Tuesday of the North Tonawanda AARP Chapter 3526 at Sikora Post, 950 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda.
Final arrangements will be made for the installation of officers potluck luncheon on June 17.
Members with names starting in S through Z are asked to bring homemade desserts. Members are asked to bring non-perishable items for the food pantry.

Parachute Group offers help at YWCA
The Parachute Group, a networking group for individuals who are in career or job transition or have lost their jobs and would like to meet with individuals who are in the same situation, will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the YWCA of the Tonawandas, 49 Tremont St., North Tonawanda.

Preventing falls focus of seminar
What you need to know about how to prevent falls will be presented at a seminar from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Wynwood Kenmore, 2971 Delaware Ave., Kenmore.
Information will be presented on how osteoporosis, impaired vision, medications and blood pressure can increase your risk for falls.
