Classic bag sale set at Presbyterian church
A classic bag sale will be hosted from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 149 Broad St., City of Tonawanda.
Fill a paper bag for $2.

TOWN OF TONAWANDA
TT plans interpool swim meet
The annual interpool swim meet sponsored by the Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks and Recreation committee will take place at 6 p.m. July 31 at Brighton Pool.
The meet is a qualifier for the Eisenhardt Meet at the Aquatic and Fitness Center on Aug. 7.
Participation is open to all residents of Ken-Ton between the ages of 6 and 18.
To enter the free event, sign up with the swim coach at your local Town pool.

Child safety seat check scheduled
The North Tonawanda Police Department will conduct child passenger safety seat checks from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the North Tonawanda Credit Union on Ward Road, North Tonawanda.

St. Matthew hosts Junk in Your Trunk sale
Junk in Your Trunk community sale will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church and School, 875 Eggert Drive, North Tonawanda.
Rental is $15 per parking space or two spaces for $25.
All are welcome.

PENDLETON
Horse show, picnic set at Good Shepherd
The annual picnic and horse show, hosted by Good Shepherd Church, is scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday on the church grounds, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Road, Pendleton.
A chicken barbecue with homemade desserts, chowder, hot dogs, hamburgers and French fries will be featured.
Games of chance for adults and activities for children will continue all day, ending with a grand raffle.
All are invited.
