WHEATFIELD
Identity theft topic of senior event
The Wheatfield Senior Citizens will host a presentation on identity theft at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the community center on Church Road.
The program will be presented by the Niagara County Sheriff's Department.
All are welcome.

Sikora Post plans spaghetti dinner
A spaghetti dinner will be hosted from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Sikora Post No. 1322 American Legion, 950 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda.
Dinner includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread and butter and beverage for $6. Choice of homemade dessert is available for an additional $1.
Rock the Dock event at Dockside Inn
Rock the Dock concert will feature Rip and the Banddogs at 6 p.m. Saturday at Dockside Inn, 153 Sweeney St., North Tonawanda.
Hot dogs and clams will be served outdoors.
At 10 p.m. inside, Route 66 will perform.
Proceeds will benefit the North Tonawanda Scholastic Fireman’s Education Fund.

Music, food, tours focus of Ukrainian Festival
The annual Ukrainian Festival will take place from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday September 7 at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 3275 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore.
The event will celebrate Ukrainian cultural heritage with Ukrainian dance groups, folk songs and music, ethnic food and drink, baked goods, raffles, family and children’s activities, church tours and ethnic vendors.
Admission, parking, and performances are free.
Butterflies focus of garden club event
The Kenmore Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Kenmore United Methodist Church, Landers Road.
Betsy Moll from the Erie County Botanical Garden will speak on how to attract monarch butterflies to your backyard. An avid gardener, Moll volunteers at the botanical gardens and has been published in “Birds and Blooms” magazine.
Chairpersons are Lily Zendano and Johanna Gennuso. The floral designer will be Teresa Greene. Guests are welcome.
An education workshop has been planned on Sept. 16. Members will decoupage a flower pot.

Spaghetti dinner set at fire company
A spaghetti dinner and theme basket raffle is scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company, 7165 Ward Road.
Salad and ice cream bars will be featured.
Tickets are $8.

Peach Festival scheduled in Lewiston
The annual Niagara County Peach Festival sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston will take place Friday through Sunday in Academy Park in Lewiston.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. Friday with midway rides and entertainment acts performing on stage all through the festival. A farmers’ market will feature peach pies.
A cheerleading contest, parade and 5K fun run will also be featured.
4-H garage sale set in Lockport
The annual 4-H garage sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Niagara County Fairgrounds, Route 78, Lockport.

Singles dance planned at Hearthstone
A singles dance will be hosted at 8:30 p.m. Fridaysept5 at Hearthstone Manor, 333 Dick Road, Depew.
Music with a DJ, games and prizes will be featured. Admission is $8.
