City streets to be closed Friday

Tonawanda News — City of Tonawanda streets will be closed on Friday in preparation for next week's Canal Fest event, police said.

Young Street between Main and Delaware streets will be closed, as well as Niagara Street between Seymour and Main streets. The Renaissance Bridge will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, and it will be closed for the entire week of the event. 

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority bus kiosk at the intersection of Main Street and Niagara Street will be closed. Temporary bus stops will be set up.
