The Tradition continues

Tonawanda News — For the 104th time, football squads from the north and south sides of the Erie Canal in the Tonawandas are squared up to renew their century-plus rivalry. 

After a week steeped in the unique traditions in Tonawanda and North Tonawanda, a new group of players will take to the gridiron. But as Thursday’s pep rallies demonstrate, T-NT Week is about much more than a football game. It’s about community pride instilled in a new generation.
