Tonawanda News — A 66-year-old woman drove her car into the AAA Western & Central New York building in the Sheridan Drive plaza Friday morning, Town of Tonawanda police said.
The accident occurred at 8:51 a.m. No tickets were issued and no one was injured.
“She was pulling into the parking lot and said she slid into the building,” police spokesman Capt. Joseph Carosi said.
The building sustained $3,000 worth of damage.
The incident was one of a handful of accidents that occurred in the town on Friday, but none of them led to injuries, Carosi said. A six-car pileup occurred on the I-290 near the I-190 ramp, and an unattended police car was also hit.
