Tonawanda News — Town of Tonawanda police are attempting to identify a group of youths who damaged several business early Tuesday morning.

Police Capt. Joseph Carosi said the incidents took place in the vicinities of Kenmore Avenue and Parker Boulevard at roughly 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, where the youths threw bricks and rocks through the windows of businesses and automobiles.

“So far it looks like it happened on just one night,” he said. “It looks like it was a group of kids who were probably 14 or 15 years old. They were kind of young to be out that late.”

Surveillance video captured one teenager throwing a brick at a sign in front of a business, which could lead to criminal mischief charges against the vandals if they are identified.

Town police are asking the public to call the confidential tip line at 879-6606 with information on the incident.
