Sheridan Drive lanes to be closed

Tonawanda News — Sheridan Drive lanes to be closed

Daily lane closures will take place on Sheridan Drive starting Friday, the state Department of Transportation announced.

The closures will take place in both directions from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. between Grand Island Boulevard and Delaware Avenue. Milling work will begin Friday and highway paving will take place afterward.

The construction is expected to last for approximately three weeks, the DOT said in a statement Wednesday.

The right lane of Sheridan Drive Extension between River Road and Kenmore Avenue will also remain closed for drainage, curb and sidewalk reconstruction.
