Police look for suspect in shooting at Ying's in Tonawanda

Tonawanda News —

Town of Tonawanda police continue to search for a gunman suspected of shooting a Cheektowaga man outside a Sheridan Drive bar early Sunday morning, though so far few witnesses have come forward to identify the individual, according to Lt. Nick Bado.   

Errick E. Roseboro, 20, of Cheektowaga, was shot in the lower leg outside of Ying’s, Wings and Things at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, which led to a flurry of Tonawanda police and other law enforcement agencies, who rushed to the scene after a report that multiple gunshots were fired outside the establishment. 

Arriving officers said they observed what was estimated at more than 100 people "yelling, screaming and fleeing from the area" and requested assistance from other police outfits due to "Roseboro, who was sent to the Erie County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, was released later on Sunday.
